Attention: Anyone Who Wants To Avoid Throwing Their Tire Buying Money Down The Drain
If You’re Like Most People…The Next Time You Buy New Tires…You’re Going To Waste Your Hard Earned Money. But It Doesn’t Have To Be That Way.
“Finally! You Can Buy New Tires That Are Right For Your Vehicle And Driving Conditions. NOT What The Local Tire Store WANTS TO SELL YOU.”
Everybody wants to save money and get the best deal they can when they buy something. Its no different…and probably applies more to buying new tires.
Tire Retailers Treat The Consumer With No Respect
In today’s rather cynical marketplace it can be pretty tough to know you’re buying the best value for your dollar. More and more its hard to rely on retail store staff for knowledgeable information.Bottom line with tire stores is they want to sell the most expensive tire they can. You’ll never ask about things like:
- how important is a quiet ride
- do you drive in mostly on paved roads, gravel or dirt
- what car make and model do you drive
- how important is wet traction (or dry traction)
- how important is ride comfort (vs treadwear)
- etc, etc.
All they want to know is…”What is your tire size?”
And when you ask a retailer “What’s the best tire?” Well that’s like walking through a minefield wearing a blindfold. The answer you’ll get back is the brand that’s paying the highest commission that month or offering the store the best manufacturer’s buying incentive.
And its pretty much that way on the internet as well.
There’s a lot…and I mean a LOT of people out there driving around on tires that are way beyond what they need. And they’ve paid big bucks to do it.
So What’s The Answer? How Do You Find The Most Reliable Tire Information?
Well, it doesn’t have to be that way. Now YOU can take charge of knowing what the right tire is for YOUR vehicle and driving conditions. And spend your tire buying dollar wisely. Not the way the retailer wants you to.
How? By using reliable consumer tire ratings and reviews.
Notice I said reliable? I’m not talking about reviews that have been put together by a tire manufacturer. Its obvious why. Guess who’s product will always come out on top and be “the best”.
Or some “study” that your local tire chain store has put together. You see tire stores get paid “extras” from the manufacturers for pushing a particular brand or tire style. And that’s what they’re going to be shoving at you…the one that benefits them the most.
The way around all of this self-centered (by the retailer) confusion is to rely on independent tire reviews and ratings. Information compiled from people who have bought and are riding around on the tires.
Not some market share analysis or market trend study done by some market research company.
Warning:
Your Local Tire Dealer Really Don’t Want You To See Information Like This
I’ve come across an online tire merchant who does just that. Gives you access to ratings and reviews (separate from one another) done by people who have bought tires from them and offer their opions willingly and without compensation.
These surveys have been conducted:
- ongoing for 10 years (since 1997)
- represententing 422 different tire models
- 2,108,661,547 miles driven (that right, more than 2 billion miles)
- 129,951 surveys
Here’s an actual comment from someone who’s used these reviews and ratings…
“The website is great! Pick your make and model and ‘bingo’ you have a list of the best tires for your car. “
Do You Want To Buy Your New Tires As Easily As I Did?
Now, doesn’t that sound easy? Does that sound like the way you’d like to buy your tires? No high pressure from a salesperson selling you what THEY want YOU to buy.
You make the decision based on your needs and pocketbook! Based on honest facts from real people.
And best of all…you buy them from the distributor, so you know already that the prices are going to be attractive. Here’s my onw personal example:
I was having a real hard time trying to find new tires for my 300m. I finally selected a set of 4 Continental Conti Extreme Contact tires. And I bought them based solely on the reviews and ratings I’ve been talking about above.
Here’s an example for you to look at.
And no retailer could touch the price I paid. Let alone provide me with that kind of reliable buyer information. They just can’t do it! Ask a retailer for written customer reviews and all they’ll give you is a blank stare.
Now really…how much easier can it be to select the right tires?
